Huesca as the ecotourism spot
Huesca is made of contrasts. In this vast province you can go from the high snowy peaks of the Pyrenees to the desert landscapes of Monegros without getting off the car, in just 200 kilometers. The diversity of landscapes is such that, between them, almost any type of activities in nature can be done in Huesca.
Starting from the north, we find the Huesca Pyrenees. Throughout the year this area is well known for its possibilities in terms of adventure activities. But above all, it stands out in winter, a time when it becomes a true tourist-sports paradise.
In the colder months, the snow allows visitors to the Aragonese Pyrenees to cross-country skiing or cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice climbing, snowshoeing through cross-country skiing or snowboarding. , even, make trips in dog sleds, sport that is known as "mushing".
But it is also possible to practice activities in nature in Huesca when summer arrives. In the same Pyrenees, the Natural Parks of the Western Valleys and Posets-Maladeta, and the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido, is full of hikers who travel a large number of routes and trails. One of the best known may be the trail to the Cola de Caballo waterfall, in Ordesa.
