Fall in love with Spain and its ecotourism
Spain, like many other places in the world, is surely a place full of corners and places in nature where fascinating activities can be done. But something must have Spain (and, in fact, it has) so that we are ahead in the ranking of the competitiveness index of the world tourism sector.

And in Spain we like to bet on our strengths, and tourism in nature is one of them. It is, our peninsula and its islands, a representation of different and diverse ecosystems, in a relatively small land. Each of them with its particularities and resources that make them unique.

The north of Spain has an oceanic climate that allows this area of the peninsula to be the region of green par excellence. A hiking trail through the Natural Reserve of Muniellos, or the famous Camino de Santiago are proof of that.

The Spain of the interior, sometimes misjudged as poor or bland, also has its charm. And it is that in the community of La Mancha we find an unpublished wetland, that of the Tablas de Daimiel National Park or bicycle touring on the Ruta del Quijote.

The Mediterranean does not lower its guard when it comes to breastfeeding and showing the world its beauty. From the province of Barcelona, to the first towns of Cadiz, the Mediterranean coast offers as many alternatives as a variety of landscapes: whale watching, diving, kayaking, boat trips, paddle surfing or bird watching. High seas, lagoons, coast, caves, marshes or river deltas.

Finally, and not least, the Canary Islands, with that tropical climate that invites you to go out into nature to breathe fresh air. Also to spend a night under the stars, practicing quality astrotourism in one of their Starlight Reserves.

We could continue to enumerate wonders of our land, but surely it is more enriching that you know them for yourself, that you discover places where no one has yet arrived. You will see that there is no need to cross the pond or travel 900 km to discover unparalleled landscapes.
Sustainability, the second name of Spain
# 1 It's easy to visit land, and I'm sure you still do not know it from end to end

Sometimes we want to cover too much because we believe (sometimes, wrongly) that this will mean the total success of the trip. Spain, fortunately for the traveler, is a territory not very extensive (at least, if we compare it with Brazil, in whose extension 17 "Spains" would fit), and its different corners can be visited without it supposes a very big effort.

# 2 Discover each town and each place: exchange culture in the best environment, nature

Although all are Spanish, the people of the place have their own peculiarities, perhaps a product of the interaction with the environment in which they have grown. Thus, it will not be the same to visit an Andalusian village than a Galician village, but both will be equally charming, that's for sure!

# 3 Save money by not having to travel far

As we have already said, Spain is small, and it is so diverse at a landscape and nature level that it is possible that it is enough to move 50 km to leave an environment similar to ours and discover another totally different one. Flora and fauna new, customs that are still alive or gastronomy of excellent quality, which in many occasions will make the visit a reason more than enough to return. In addition, you will be promoting local tourism, thus promoting sustainable development. It is in your hand!

# 4 Get in touch with the natural environment that surrounds you and value it

Nothing is as exciting as spending fifteen minutes of your time observing any animal or plant in its habitat. How he travels, how he searches for food, how he treats his young. It is at that moment when human beings realize that we are one of them. And if you've never felt this, try it.

# 5 Practice sports outside a room with machines

Today we do not have time to do outdoor sports. We prefer to go to the gym, which is very good, hey, but that does not let us fly with the mind while the endorphins keep us in a state of well-being. That you do not know how to start? Bicycle tourism has been going strong in recent years, more and more roads and greenways are being enabled for this, and it seems a very good option!

# 6 Feel proud of the good things about Spain

It is the talk of the day. The country is very bad, politics is very bad, the neighbor is very bad ... In Spain, as in all countries, there are good things and bad things. Being all day thinking about the bad in the end becomes toxic against us, and we end up in a state of frustration. That's why, since activities in nature are just some of the many options that our land offers us to enjoy and live it, let us take our chests and feel proud of this corner full of sunshine, green and diversity in every way.
