Activity description

Would you like to discover the La Paz waterfalls in Costa Rica?

The route begins by accessing the area of Poás de Alajuela with a short stop for a chat about coffee - the jewel of our country. From here wonderful views of the central valley and coffee plantations open up.

The journey will continue through the area where ferns, flowers and strawberries are cultivated. After a few kilometers we will head towards the waterfalls along a gorgeous trek which will give us a chance to see the highlights of the park: the aviary, the butterfly observatory and the gallery of hummingbirds. You will also witness animals such as snakes, frogs, monkeys and felines.

In the middle of the forest we will have a delicious buffet style lunch to later continue the walk until we reach the natural waterfalls formed by the river La Paz. This walk will take you to the heart of the rainforest accompanied by the best guides.
