Would you like to live an amazing experience of visiting a volcano in Costa Rica?

The Arenal volcano with the hot springs of Tabacón is one of our most popular excursions. This tour offers a chance to get to know both of the worlds: the beauty of the Arenal Volcano combined with the exuberant thermal relaxing waters of Tabacón. During all of the excursion you will be surrounded by lush vegetation and spectacular views of an almost perfect conically shaped colossus.

The impressive volcano of Arenal is a natural wonder which is found in La Fortuna de San Carlos, Alajuela, and offers a chance to discover the columns of white smoke, ashes and fumarolic activity emanating from the conical colossus to thousands of tourists.

On the route to the volcano we will stop at a famous village of Sarchi, known as a cradle of the craftsmen of Costa Rica which is the best place to purchase local souvenirs made of wood, clothes and small details for a memory. It is very likely that you will witness an oxcart which holds the title of being the biggest in the world and which is made of the cedar wood decorated with vibrant colours such as bright orange.

With no doubt this is an absolutely different way of getting to know the secrets that Costa Rica beholds.

This tour shows the best of both worlds, in terms of the raw untamed beauty of the imposing Arenal Volcano, which is juxtaposed against the lush and soothing thermal waters of Tabacon Hot Springs. All this set against a backdrop of lush vegetation and breathtaking views of the nearly perfect conical shaped lines of the volcano.

Enroute to the Arenal Volcano there will be a stop in the famous town of Sarchi, known as the birthplace of Costa Rica’s Artisans. In Sarchi, you can see many of the handicrafts that Costa Rica has to offer, as well as the possibility of feasting your eyes on the world largest ox cart.
