Activity description
Do you know the National Park of Manuel Antonio in Costa Rica?

If a natural paradise exists it for sure is the National Park of Manuel Antonio.

Relax and enjoy the local beaches and nature. The combination of both will take you to a heavenly beach with crystal clear waters and coral reefs, bordered by lush vegetation and natural charms of the tropical rainforest. These beaches are known as the best of Costa Rica especially for diving and surfing.

Our route will start by crossing the mountains which surround the valley early in the morning. We will walk along the principal road which connects the capital with the coast. Once we cross the mountain range we will stop to have a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast on the banks of Tárcoles river.

To reach the park we will continue our route along the road of Costanera Sur while enjoying the beautiful ocean view as well as african palm plantations and picturesque towns situated along the Pacific coast. After reaching the Port of Quepos we will continue to the National Park.

Firstly we will have a walk through the rainforest by following the natural trail of the national park until we will reach the beach where you can have a swim or continue with a walk along the trails, which will allow you to observe the abundant flora and fauna of the park. Especially various species of monkeys, raccoons, iguanas, birds, and sloths. One of the trails borders with Punta Catedral from where the view of the vegetation and the sea is spectacular.

Later on, after enjoying the wonderful time at the national park and before walking back to the city, we will go back to the restaurant where a delicious lunch will await for us.

It is a unique and authentic adventure to get to know Costa Rica!
