The Rías Baixas and the island of Arousa

This fantastic tour takes place in the area of Cambados, a village found in the Salnés region, in the pure heart of the Rías Baixas, in the province of Pontevedra. Nearby you will find the famous island of Arousa best known for its beautiful lighthouse and the fantastic natural park of Carreirón, registered as a special protection area for birds. It has five ports of which Xufre is the most important as well as the docks of Campo, Chazo and Cabodeiro which are the best known in this municipality. The highest point of the Island is the viewpoint of Del Santo from where you can see the town and the spectacular scenery.

The rich Galician gastronomy

The tour we offer is a guided tour carried out by the hand of an expert guide. It will last approximately 11 hours in which a picnic is included.

This complete experience in the Rías Baixas consists of gastronomy, vineyards, wineries and beaches. This experience can be enjoyed from October to June with an option of summer and winter seasons as well.

The departure point will be at Pontevedra and we will transfer you in our van to visit the fishing villages such as Cambados, capital of European wine, or Combarro, one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Galicia. Next, we will get to know the historical D.O. Rías Baixas and its spectacular vineyards. Afterwards there we will have some time for hiking a part of the route of "Pedra e Auga", near the monastery of Armenteira.

Boat tour

During winter, at the end of the tour we will rest while we eat at the exquisite restaurant Tinta Negra de Combarro. In summer we will replace the hiking route with a visit to the fishing village of O Grove, where we will take a beautiful boat that will take us to Sávora, an Island of the Atlantic Islands National Park where we will see its stunning lighthouse and an old abandoned town. On the way back we will enjoy our "picnic at La Gallera" where we will have a free bar of wine and mussels.

INCLUDES: Boat tour along the Arousa estuary, with tasting of mussels, and guided tour of the Sálvora archipelago (5 hours), visit to the winery with tasting of Albariño, Galician picnic, transportation, guided hiking routes and insurance
