A bird observatory in the heart of the forest

Before the activity we make a circular route around the surroundings, it is optional but it is highly recommended, so we know the context where we are and discover peculiarities of the ZEC Sierra de Gredos and Valle del Jerte.
The route runs through a large oak grove and open areas consisting of prairie and low scrub with granite outcrops, we find different birdlife according to biome.

We arrive at the Pisavalles CBI observatory immersed in a thick chestnut grove, here we closely observe titmouse, nuthatch, blue tit, robin, bunting, jay, myth, treecreeper, finch, etc. We share impressions and peculiarities of the different species as they come. If you have not visited any of them yet, you will be surprised, because being able to observe their shapes and colors in movement, accompanied by singing, amaze children and adults alike. The ideal time to visit the observatory is Autumn and Winter.
