Activity description

Monfragüe offers a combination of different Mediterranean ecosystems, with meadows, crags, rivers and wetlands with a great diversity of animal life. Among these, the local raptors such as the Spanish imperial eagle, golden eagle, Bonelli's eagle, black vulture, griffon vulture, peregrine falcon or the black-shouldered kite; and other birds in the breeding period such as black stork, Egyptian vulture, booted eagle, short-toed eagle or black kite. Another of the shows that you can enjoy in Monfragüe is the bellowing of the deer between mid-September and mid-October.
