After the walk, you will visit Pia do Urso, a beautiful traditional town that draws attention to the beauty of its houses and cobbled streets known for housing a sensory park and different geological formations that the bears used to drink water once.

Grutas da Moeda

The adventure continues with a guided tour of the cave where you can discover the natural galleries and their spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. Did you know that stalactites are formed from calcium carbonate in water? You will know all this and much more along the way, like the fascinating legend of Moeda which gives its name to the caves.

Once the tour is finished, you can also visit the fossil and mineral museum with a large number of available copies. This is the ideal place to admire a magnificent exhibition of minerals and fossils from Portugal and many other countries. Finally, you can taste regional products (sweet wine, honey, olive oil, regional sweet ...).
