Activity description

This gully is one of the most spectacular gullies in the Lleida Pyrenees area (medium level).

Located in the heart of Congost de Collegats, the Barranc de l'Infern amazes with its spectacular 160-meter high walls.
To get to the gully, you will cross the Noguera Pallaresa River walking, swimming or zipping depending on the season you do this activity in.

Once you cross the river, you will have to climb up a slope for 30 minutes. When you reach the gully, you will do a final equipment check and the guide will give you the final recommendations to start descending down the gully. Barranc de l’Infern is a well-known gully for its uniqueness and its impressive cave. During springtime, there is an abundant water flow. In summer, its water flow drops down but its spectacular nature remains intact.

You will encounter 4 rappels (9-meter, 20-meter, 1-meter and 7 meter respectively), slides, a siphon (not always) and several ribs.

*PLEASE NOTE: We kindly ask you to drive your own car from our activity centre to the starting point of the activity and back.

Minimum age accompanied by an adult (depending on the river flow): 15 years old (springtime) and 12 years old (summertime)

• Technical equipment (wetsuit, windbreaker jacket, neoprene socks, helmet, GoPro helmet mount, harnesses, carabiners and anchors depending on the state of the gully)

Requirements

You have to be at least 12 years old.

Children until 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Awesome ! We did rafting and canyoning (beginners) as a family and both activities were fun (and safe). The guides are really what makes this experience awesome and I hope that all the guides there are like those we got (Miguel for rafting and Any for Canyoning) . We somehow find the instructions and what to expect not clear enough and hopefully those could be improved in the future (what to bring , what do you get there , how long is the activity , how much walking to the activity is needed etc...). And the "10 minute" walk for the canyoning activity start with the suites and gear and without water was not easy at all for our kids. Besides that it was really fun experience (both rafting and canyoning) and the guides are amazing ! Highly recommended !

Went for a day of adventures while on vacation. We went white water rafting in the morning and then went canyoning in the afternoon. Could not have asked for a better experience! Our guides Ian and Elizabeth were absolutely phenomenal. They clearly knew what they were doing and were extremely comfortable leading groups of people with a variety of experience levels and confidence. They also helped make the adventures even more fun. They were fluent in English, Catalan and Spanish. The gear provided to us was in good condition and we received clear instructions on how to use it and how to be safe. If you're in the area and don't take a Rocroi adventure then you're missing out!

We did white water rafting with RocRoi had a fantastic time! It was great for our family as exciting rapids but not too scary for my daughter aged 7, she loved being in the front (not needing to paddle) and getting wet! We were well looked after by Joan, great instruction and good equipment, felt very safe. Tip - only need to take swimming costumes as they provide all the wetsuits etc. there are showers at the base to freshen up after being in cold rubber suits. Would recommend RocRoi . Thanks!
