Activity description

Sierra de Irta's Natural Park is characterized by being essentially the last undeveloped coastal stretch (14 km) in the whole Spanish Mediterranean shoreline from France to Andalucía.

Its mountains, its calas (coves) and beaches, its gigantic cliffs... are the last natural testimonies of what the Mediterranean once was, practically disappeared during the last fifty years.

Along the route we will remember the days of the Barbary pirates at the foot of Torre Badum, on the top of an impressive 100-meters-tall cliff; explore a unique biodiversity and how it has adapted to the harsh conditions of a changing coastline.

Talk about the sea and the importance of preserving it while having lunch next to a small spring that flows into a deserted cala; smell the Mediterranean vegetation in all its glory, and you'll get to try typical products of the area.

Definitely a hiking day that you won’t easily forget.

We took the boat tour of the Clot de Borriana, very interesting and entertaining, my ten-year-old son loved it. The two charming and friendly guides. The boat ride was beautiful, and at the end they had a very cool detail with us. We would repeat for sure.
