Albacete, heart of sustainable tourism
A second experience very demanded among the activities in nature in Albacete is hiking. It can be done in almost any part of the province, because there are many routes in this regard. Some of the places preferred by walkers are the Sierra de las Cabras (where the highest mountains of the province are located), the Sierra de Alcaraz or the surroundings of the Río Mundo.
In this last place, caving can also be practiced. Apart from the well-known Cueva de los Chorros it is possible to visit the caves of La Pedorrilla and El Farallón. Nearby, in the Fuensanta reservoir, all kinds of sports are practiced. Both aquatic, such as kayaking or sailing, and others with more adrenaline. Bungee jumping and climbing, for example. Although if you want to mix the two things, water and adventure, the best thing is that you enjoy a day of rafting on the Segura River.
Other active active tourism activities that can be done in Albacete are canyoning, mountain bike routes or horseback riding. These last ones are realized, mainly, in Ossa de Montiel, where you will find routes for all the levels between wonderful landscapes.
In short, Albacete proves to be one of those provinces that seems little but, when it is known, surprises.
