Meron Surf School is a surf school directed and co-founded by Jose Manuel Ramos “yuka” and Aritz Ugarteburu. Between both of them sum more than 20 years of experince as surf instructors.

They are from San Vicente de la Barquera and they have deep knowledge of its beaches and beachcombers. All their life has been dedicated to surfing.

Meron Surf School is based close to Playa de Meron, within Parque Natural de Oyambre, a beatiful spot recently declared World Surfing Reserve. From there you can see the stunning view of Picos de Europa mountains. The surfing lessons will take place at Playa de Meron, a huge white sand beach. We can also go to other spots, depending on the sea and wind conditions, where we can enjoy our favourite sport safely.

The school is recognized by the Spanish Federation of Surf (FES) and Cantabria Federation of Surf (FCS)
