Fauna wealth of Sierra Morena
Sierra Morena extends to the north of the provinces of Huelva, Seville, Córdoba and Jaén. This mountain range of Andalusia separates this region from the rest of the country and is a natural space of great value for flora and flora.
This vast compound territory holds many natural parks such as the Sierra de Cardeña and the National Park of Montoro. Among its main bird species you can find raptors like the booted eagle, the golden eagle or the black vultures. Also, other Mediterranean birds such as the hoopoe, the blue tit, the kestrel or the wood pigeon can be observed in the area.
We offer you a 3 day photography marathon (from April 26 to 28) in Cordoba area of Sierra Morena, in the town of Adamuz. We will focus on the birds that inhabit the sierra during the spring. Among the species that we will encounter you can expect: the bee-eater, kingfisher, Bonelli's eagle, golden eagle, little owl, among many others, such as the common vulture and black vulture.
The workshop will be taught by great professionals who are experts in nature photography. During the workshop we will have an opportunity to photograph a wide selection of species of the Iberian fauna, such as eagles in freedom. We have to keep in mind that there are never full guarantees of success of encountering each and every species. Many of the sessions will be done from hides or hiding places in half-day or a full day sessions. During the season the hides on Saturday will be raffled among all participants.
