The Lakes of Covadonga
One of the most emblematic places in the region are the Lakes of Covadonga, It is formed by three lakes of glacial origin, the Enol, the Ercina and the Bricial (which appears in the thaw season). In addition, it is located very close to the visited Covadonga Sanctuary. It is a natural environment of spectacular beauty that astonishes all visitors. We offer you a hiking route to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Covadonga Lakes and the Palomberu beech forest. During the route you will learn in detail about the formation of the lakes, the nature that surrounds them and all the history around this landscape. It is an initiation route, suitable for all ages and a duration of 3 hours on almost flat terrain. Includes Certified Mountain Guide, Accident insurance and Civil Liability. You will need comfortable walking shoes and clothing and some food and water.
