Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
You’ll arrive at Kathmandu, the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). One of our representatives will welcome you in the traditional way at the arrival gate. You will be taken to the hotel. You can rest or you can visit the nearest places around Kathmandu, like the Narayanhity Museum. At evening, you can enjoy a good traditional welcome dinner in a traditional restaurant.
Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Today we can start our tour after having breakfast, from Kathmandu Durbar Square (Basantapur) where you can see Kumari temple, Museum, Kaal vairab (the god of distruction), Taleju Vawani , Pasupatinath (the biggest holy temple of Hindus), Swayambunath (the famous Monkey temple), Boudhanath.
Then, we will move towards Bhaktapur (Bhadgaoun) where you can see other durbar square, traditional houses and the traditional Newari Museum. Then, you will be taken to Nagarkot hill from where you can see the Kathmandu Valley. After that, you will taken to Latitpur. In the evening, you will some time off. You’ll stay the night in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Driving to Nyalamu
Today, we will drive to Nyalamu, the starting point of our destination is this small village from Tibet, near the border of Nepal, also known as ‘Kuti’ to Nepalese traders and used to be an important trade center. Then, we will stay at a guest house there.
Day 4: Nyalam
Today, we will stay in Nyalam for acclimatization, so we will visit the area over there and admire the Tibetan culture.
Day 5: Nyalam to Saga
Today, we will move towards Saga, and on the way we will cross the Brahmaputra river. The Brahmaputra is an important river for irrigation and transportation. The river is prone to have terrible floodings in spring when the Himalayan snows melt. Later on, we'll go to Saga and spend the night here.
Day 6: Trekking to Paryang
Today, we will move to Paryang, at 185 km east from Saga, a village in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, enjoying the high mountains bordering Nepal. Also, we can enjoy stony streams, a small lake, and some small Tibetan villages. We will stay at a guest house this night.
Day 7: Driving to Manasarovar
Today, we will drive through the wild country. We can drive along the gorgeous shadow of Manas to Chiu Gompas, enormously lied on the northwest bank of the lake. We can stay at the guest house.
Day 8: Hiking to Darchen
We can explore around the lake in the morning. Then, we can move to Darchen, which is located right in front of the sacred Mountain, Mount Kailash, with an altitude of 4,575 M. (15,010 ft) and is the starting point for pilgrimages in the region. Stay at guest house.
Day 9: Driving towards Tarboche and Dira Puk
Today, we will drive to Tarboche, the starting point of Kailash. We will trek 14 KMs to Dira park, on the way there, we can see the Lha Chu river west of Kailash. Today, we can enjoy tent camping.
Day 10: Dira Puk to Dolmala Pass and Zutual Puk
Today, we will continue for 22 kms through Dolmala, to reach to Zuthual Park where we will stay in a tent.
Day 11: Back to Paryang
Today, we will return to Darchen. We can have a good rest at the guest house.
Day 12: Driving from Paryang to Nyalamu
Today, we will drive to Nyalamu from Paryang. We will stay at the guest house in Nyalamu.
Day 13: Arriving at Kathmandu
Today, you can stay at your hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 14: Kathmandu
You’ll have a day off to enjoy some shopping. You can buy souvenirs for your family and friends. Enjoy a date with your travelling mates in the evening.
Day 15: Departure from Kathmandu
After having a good breakfast, you will have some time off before catching your flight. Then, you will be transferred to Kathmandu Airport. We hope to see you again very soon!
