Would you like to live a great adventure? Come and discover Peru and the charms of one of the most recognized tourist attractions in the world - Machu Picchu.
If your passion is nature Peru is your ideal country. Located in western part of South America, it is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. Among its infinite landscapes, you will find extensive valleys, high plateaus or high mountains of more than 6,000 meters. Its great contrast is worthy of admiration. The mountain range of the Andes separates inhospitable deserts, like that of Sechura, from the Amazon jungle.
Cuzco and Machu Picchu
If we would have to name a tourist place par excellence in Peru - it would be Cuzco. The city is located in the southeast of the country. It is one of the most populated and with the greatest patrimonial heritage of Peru. Once it was the ancient capital of the Inca Empire and its colonial legacy can still be witnessed in its buildings. Thanks to its large number of monuments it was declared a World Heritage Site in 1983.
There are many reasons to visit it. One of them is its proximity to one of the 7 wonders of the modern world, the prevailing Machu Picchu. This historic sanctuary is located in the well known Sacred Valley of the Incas at 2,500 meters of altitude.
Will you dare to discover it?

OPTION 2: A FULL DAY TOUR OF THE SACRED VALLEY (Additional price: 45 USD per person).
After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. A full day excursion to the Urubamba Valley awaits you starting with a visit to the colorful Indian market in Pisac, where you will appreciate a rich color palette and local traditions. Pisac is situated at the entrance to the Sacred Valley. The valley is 30-31 km away from Cusco, and at an altitude of 2,970 m (9,700 ft).
Later on, Urubamba awaits you, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch buffet (not included) and then continue to Ollantaytambo, the oldest and continuously occupied city of the American continent. The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo, along with its canals, have not changed much since the times of the Inca Empire. They evoke their ancestral heritage and give you an idea of what it would be like to live during those times.
The last visit will be the chinchero market. It is believed that Chinchero is the mythical birthplace of the rainbow. Its main tourist attraction is its colorful Sunday market, which is much less oriented to tourism than the Pisac market. At the end of the day we will return to the Plaza de Armas in Cusco at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Accommodation: Casa Andina Classic Cusco Plaza or similar.
Day 3: Cuzco - Wiñay Wayna - Machu Picchu
The adventure will start at the hotel where you are staying, at the agreed time (depending on the time of the train). We will transfer you to the train station. A journey of an hour and a half will await you on a train trip with beautiful views until you will reach the beginning of the trail. Afterwards, the hike will take about 4 hours until you will reach Wiñay Wayna, archaeological Inca ruins of great value at almost 2,700 meters above the sea level. Without any doubt, it is a spectacular tour with incredible views.
The hike will continue until we reach Inti Punku. From here the first panoramic views of Machu Picchu will open up. We will take the side road to go down to Aguas Calientes where we will rest and recover the strength for the next day's journey.
