Galicia and the Rías Altas

The Rías Altas are located in A Coruña and Lugo (from Cape Finisterre to Ría de Ribadeo). Along this coastal area, you will find extensive sandy beaches such as the famous Playa de Las Catedrales de Ribadeo or imposing capes such as the Estaca de Bares, known for being the northernmost point of the peninsula.

A few kilometers from the Estaca de Bares protected area, we come across the Costa Ártabra and Cabo Ortegal, in the Ría de Ortigueira and Ladrido. A beautiful natural environment whose landscape beauty leaves no one indifferent.

Sail and surf its coasts

We propose you to discover in depth the Coast of Ortegal from the sea. To do this you can visit the most identifying places of the Ortegal and surf with a surf baptism activity in Ortegal. If it's the first time, don't worry because we give you all the basics.

As if this were not enough, you can skirt the Galician coast sailing on a sailboat from Ortigueira through the Sierra de la Capelada and admiring the “Aguillons” (spectacular rock formations). You will feel like a real sailor!

Itinerary

Day 1. Finally, we arrived.

Arrival in Porto de Espasante and check in at the hotel. In the afternoon Surfing on the beach of San Antón, Porto de Espasante.

Day 2. Learn to surf and discover our coast.

Breakfast. In the morning, visit Ortegal. In the afternoon, surf baptism in Ortegal.

Day 3. Do you want sailing?

Breakfast. Sailboat route along the coast with departure from the Ortigueira marina (approximately 2.5 hours).

Day 4. Be soon!
