Live the experience of diving in Tenerife and discover the magic of the Atlantic Ocean in its purest form.
The famous volcanic island, has an extension of more than 2000 square kilometers, and even being the territory with the largest land area of the Canary Islands, it will be under its tropical waters where we can find the most precious treasures of this fantasy land.
With more than 330 sunny days a year, an average water temperature of 22 degrees Celsius and a visibility of 20 meters deep, we find on the beach of Los Cristianos, in the south of the island, the ideal place to rediscover the world just as we know it.
It is known that in the Atlantic Ocean no day is like the previous one, its crystalline waters, bright colors and majestic rock formations give shelter to infinity of aquatic species that wait to be sighted by those who venture to descend under its waves.
To dive in Tenerife, we will find endless diving courses and to access all of them we will need to be baptized by an expert who shows us the basic procedures and, of course, to make the most of this unique experience. The baptism in the diving has a brief theoretical-practical explanation out of the sea followed by an application of the same under it, in a short time we will feel like a fish in the water.
Thanks to these professionals and their initiation program, we will feel what it is to be in three dimensions, we will learn to move around in the aquatic environment and we will discover if the diving is done or not for us, all this through direct immersions in the sea.
Once we have been baptized and we know the bases of scuba diving, we will be prepared to live all the adventures that diving in Tenerife has for us. Always supervised by monitors and trying to have a positive impact on the ecosystem, we must not forget that we will be mere spectators and that safeguarding nature is everyone's responsibility.
The requirements to dive in Tenerife are simple, we just have to enjoy a state of optimal health and not suffer from any respiratory or heart disease. In our country the minimum age for diving is 16 years, although it depends on each autonomous community, fortunately for our children in the Canary Islands the minimum age is 10 years, although in all cases the children will have to be accompanied by an adult.
Some recommendations and other requirements:
All the activities that are carried out at sea, depend on the meteorological caprices for their optimal development. Although there are usually no problems to dive in Tenerife south, we always recommend reserving the activity during the first days of our visit, so if there were misfortunes meteorological local professionals could adapt to our needs and perform the activity another day.
If you suffer from any type of hernias the monitors will be able to carry the diving equipment.
Changes in pressure can be harmful to health, so it is strongly advised against scuba diving and climbing to the heights on the same day, this includes flights or visits to the teide.
For health reasons, scuba diving will not be suitable for pregnant women.
Those who suffer from heart disease or respiratory diseases must present a medical certificate to those responsible for the activity.
Don’t think twice, reserve with Nattule this adventure that you will remember for a lifetime.
