La Sierra de Andújar and the reservoir of Jándula


Did you know that the Sierra de Andújar is home to the majority of Iberian lynx population? Yes, this natural park is one of the most important places in Jaen in terms of fauna and flora. The last stages of the Sierra Morena Trail (Grand Route GR-48) also go through here.


Following this trail is the best option to navigate through the reservoir of Jándula, one of the biggest in the whole province. It was declared a Site of Community Interest and is a space of great natural value that you will surely love.



Interpretive kayak



We offer you a kayak route that will take you to gaze at magnificent views of this beautiful reservoir accompanied by an expert guide who will tell you all the secrets of the place in an experience of over 3 hours.


The route has a of low level of difficulty and opens to a very characteristic landscape of Sierra Morena, between farms where deer, fallow deer or roe deer can be sighted along its numerous hills.
