Diving in Gran Canaria
Gran Canaria is one of the best places to learn to dive. Together with its incredible landscapes and impressive coasts you can discover a magnificent seabed with numerous marine species, many of them protected.
Together with its protected areas, the Marine Reserve Biosphere Strip stands out for its environmental value and its great extent.
The course
The course is composed of a theoretical part of about two / three days and another practice of 4 days.
The objective of the course is to learn to dive up to 18 meters deep without being accompanied by an instructor. In addition, it is a course with recognition that will allow you to access the Advanced Open Water Diver course and that has no expiration date.
Training
The theoretical part has a duration of two to three days and is formed by a flexible part online or in person at the dive center, with a schedule adapted to your needs.
Here you will learn everything you need to put into practice the knowledge that you will need for the practical part.
Once finished with the theory, a one-day training in the pool or confined waters by the instructors who will explain to you to assemble and prepare the diving equipment.
Finally, the final part with the training in open water where you will complete the course for two days with at least four dives where you can put into practice everything learned during the course.

This activity can be cancelled and fully refunded up to 24 hours after booking.
After this time, karapat dive has established that you have up to 5 days before the activity to cancel and get a refund.
If the activity had to be cancelled because of weather conditions, you would have a full refund.
