Night Route Snowshoeing in Alto Campoo (Cantabria)
Live an unforgettable experience walking at night under the light of the moon reflected in the snow on a snowshoeing night route prepared for adventurers willing to live an authentic winter experience in the Cantabrian mountains, so close to the Picos de Europa mountains.
This route is easy, suitable for all audiences, just with being used to walking. The duration of the journey will be about 2:30 to 3 hours, with a positive slope of about 200 meters.
The output will be made in the Alto Campo car park. From there, we will continue north towards the basin of Hoyo Sacro, an idyllic meadow where several streams meander, sheltered by some of the most important summits of the massif and guided by expert mountain guides.
If we are lucky and the night is clear, the moon will illuminate us enough to be able to see every corner of the mountain in detail.
