Our horse ride starts at our facilities located next to the Carlos III Camping, in the town of La Carlota. We will leave towards north through service paths parallel to the A4 Highway. On the 3rd km we will be able to appreciate natural landscapes of the countryside, where back in the day locals used to hunt with greyhounds. On the 3,5 km we will be able to appreciate an spectacular view to the Castle of Almodóvar and the Valley of Guadalquivir.
4 km later on, we'll take the Real Path of Fernán-Nuñez, crossing the entrance to Yeguada El Sol, and continuing through Las Pinedas forest, the only Mediterranean area in the countryside of Córdoba, mainly hosted by holm oaks, where we’ll be able to appreciate the local fauna and flora of hares, partridges, daisies and poppies.
We will continue our route through different livestock trails. We will cross the town of Las Pinedas, and we’ll take a flat service path on our way to the south, of about 2000 meters long, with a smooth and progressive slope, where experienced users will be able to trot and gallop. We will descend a hill and start our return to our facilities.
