Beautiful route through one of the most remote areas in the vicinity of Ronda, where the symbiosis between the environment and man has given a place with vegetation representative of what should have been the landscape of the Meseta de Ronda, back in time.
This month's route will take us from the Puerto de las Encinas Borrachas to this charming city of Ronda, following the path used in the nineteenth century by romantic travelers who climbed from Gibraltar to Ronda.
In the first meters of the beginning of our tour, we will visit the rest of a dolmen that has the name of the port where the route begins. From there, we will descend partly following a path and partly a trail, until we reach the spectacular natural formation of Tajo del Abanico, where there is a cave used as a refuge by the former bandits.
The last section of the route has also the attraction of entering the city through the door of Algeciras, to then follow a path that runs through the outside wall and reach the pit formed by the Guadalevín river, which divides the city in two. We will also enjoy a beautiful urban tour observing impressive views of the river canyon and all the beautiful surroundings of Ronda.
