Route interpreted by one of our guides, that goes along the rail that will take us to Majadahonda, where we will be able to have the panoramic views of la Costa del Sol and valle de Guadalhorce.
Along this route, we can find numerous typical plant species of the Mediterranean forest. On the cultivated areas, we find almond trees, olive trees and some fig trees. After leaving these areas behind, pine trees (Pinus halepensis) will be predominant, as well as holm oaks (Quercus rotundifolia), cade trees (Juniperus oxycedrus), mastic trees (Pistacia lentiscus) and cornicabra olive trees (Pistacia terebinthus).
As the most representative species of the fauna in the area, we can see species like mountain goats, badgers, foxes, golden eagle, lesser krestels, tawny owls, red partridges, great tits and nightingales.
Live the experience and feel the nature in its most virgin state, learning about its history, flora and fauna in the surroundings of Sierra de las Nieves. An ideal activity to get to know the value and importance of our mountains.
