Via ferrata in Priego: Estrecho de Priego and Las Buitreras (Cuenca)

Via ferrata Hoz de Priego is the ideal via ferrata to start in this adventure sport. Located in the Sierra de Cuenca, this tour has the aforementioned steel schools throughout its journey, you can also enjoy its striking Tibetan bridges, with only two ropes, one through which we move with our feet and another to grab hold of hands, and other catwalks.

One of the advantages of doing this type of outdoor adventure is to release adrenaline enjoying sensational bird's-eye views of the natural beauty of the so-called Estrecho de Priego, a deep and narrow sickle created by the riverbed Escabas, which shows us one of the most picturesque landscapes of the north of the province of Cuenca, leaving a beautiful image of forest on both sides of the river. From the via ferrata you can see how the waters reveal old constructions of flour mills, hammers and remains of ancient civilizations, very interesting to see.

The family itinerary is the section called Estrecho de Priego level k1, k2 and k3, with a soft initial ascent continuing horizontally that alternates with different bridges and small climbs.

On the other hand, Las Buitreras level k4 is a route that requires more physical by the crashes it has, with its vertical rise of 70 meters. In order to face this challenge it is necessary to have previous knowledge and experience and a good physical condition.
