Mexico and the Costa Maya

Mexico is an incredible country with great biodiversity. The Costa Maya is full of beautiful beaches in the Caribbean Sea that invite you to relax and practice all kinds of water activities. A unique natural environment with spectacular coral reefs ideal for exploring, where you can discover numerous marine species and colorful fish.

Diving in Xcalak

You will have the opportunity to take a diving course to get started in this sport in Xcalak. A wonderful place away from the crowds of the Riviera Maya and located in the south of the Quintana Roo region. It is a very well preserved space ideal to learn to dive and acquire the necessary knowledge to be a certified diver. Here you will find numerous coral reefs which are home to a great diversity of species such as lobsters.

Activity

The PADI Open Water Diver course lasts 4 days spread over 5 hours each day (approximately) that will depend on individual progress. It consists of 3 main phases: 5 academic sessions, 5 practice sessions in confined waters (pool) and 4 open water dives. It will be accompanied by an academic part with a diving manual, face-to-face classes and a final exam. Then a practical part with the corresponding dives.

You have to be at least 10 years old.

Flexible cancellation

This activity can be cancelled and fully refunded up to 24 hours after booking.

After this time, XTC Dive Center has established that you have up to 5 days before the activity to cancel and get a refund.

If the activity had to be cancelled because of weather conditions, you would have a full refund.
