Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival
Once you’ve landed at Tribhuwan International Airport, we will pick you up and take you to your hotel. After having lunch, we will start the sightseeing tour. First, we will visit the Boudhanath Stupa which is 8km away from Kathmandu. From Boudhanath, we will continue towards the Pashupatinath Temple, which is located 5km away from Kathmandu. This ancient Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. We will stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Driving to Chitwan
After having an early breakfast, we will leave Kathmandu behind us and we will drive to the Chitwan National Park. We will also explore the village of Tharu.
Day 3: Exploring Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park used to be a royal hunting reserve located in the Terai area, in southern Nepal. Here, you will find some of the world’s rarest wild animals and local and migratory birds. We will start the tour with birdwatching, and then we will enjoy a jungle safari on an elephant’s back and a canoe ride. In the evening, we will enjoy the Tharu cultural show.
Day 4: Driving to Pokhara
After breakfast, we will drive through the beautiful landscapes, paddy farms, rivers and small hamlets till reaching the Lake City of Pokhara. Once we are in Pokhara, we will check in at the hotel. After a short rest, we will go for an hour boat ride at the Fewa Lake, which is just within walking distance from the hotel.
Day 5: Driving to Sarankot and back to Pokhara
We will wake up early in the morning and then drive to Sarankot to enjoy the sunrise over the impressive snow capped Himalayas. Sarankot is located at the altitude of 1500m from the sea level. Later on, we will drive back to the hotel and have breakfast. After having breakfast, we will enjoy a city tour and visit places like the David’s fall, Gupteshwor cave and a Tibetan refugee camp. We will stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 6: Flying to Kathmandu and driving to Nagarkot
After having breakfast, we will fly back to Kathmandu. We will drive towards Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is the home for medieval art and architecture. We will discover the Lion Gate, statue to King Bhupatindra Malla, Golden Gate, Iuand the Palace, and the Batsaka Temple. From here, we will continue our drive to Nagarkot,located at 2300m from the sea level. On a clear day we will be able to see the Mt Everest from here.
Day 7: Driving back to Kathmandu
We will enjoy the sunrise early in the morning. After this, we will drive back to Kathmandu. We will visit the Patan Durbar Square, which is one of the oldest Buddhist cities in the world. We will also visit the Kastamandap Temple (a temple rumored to be constructed from the wood of single tree), Taleju temple, statue of Kal Vairab, Basantapur palace and Kumari Temple (residence of living goddess Kumari).
Day 8: Kathmandu – Departure
After having Breakfast, you will have some time off until you have to leave. Then, you will be transferred to the Kathmandu Airport. We hope to see you soon again!
