Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
You’ll arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), in Kathmandu. One of our representatives will welcome you in traditional way at the arrival gate. You will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, you can enjoy a good traditional welcome dinner.
Day 2: Godavari National Botanical Garden and exploring the Pulchowki Mountain
Today after breakfast we will drive to Phulchwoki. The hillside is covered with forest of amazing flora, and you can also find many types of birds. About 100 species of birds have been recorded in this area including the regionals ones, like the Mountain Hawk Eagle, the Rufous Bellied Pied Woodpeckers spring babbler, the Curia, and the Black-throated Parrot bill and many more. We will stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 3: Nagarjuna Forest Hill
After having and early breakfast, we will move to the Nagarjuna Forest. Nagarjuna Royal Forest is located 5 km away from Kathmandu. This place is also one of the renowned spots for birdwatching, being able to spot here blue magpies, kalij pheasants, Bonelli’s eagles, great Himalayan barbets amongst many other species. We will stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 4: From Kathmandu to Chitwan
After having breakfast, we will take a 20 minute flight or we will drive for about 6 to 7 hours. We will explore Chitwan city. We will stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 5: Chitwan birding
After having an early breakfast, we will head towards the Royal Chitwan National Park. Chitwan is in the lowlands of Nepal, which is also known as the Terai. The Royal Chitwan National park is one of the best-known sites in Nepal for birdwatching. We will stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 6: Chitwan birding
On our second day in Chitwan, we will explore the remaining areas of the park. Around 500 species have been spotted in Chitwan and, like the Blue Indian Roller, Stork-billed Kingfishers, Bengal Florican, Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Bee-eaters, Cormorants, and many more. We will stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 7: From Chitwan to Kathmandu
After having an early breakfast, we will take a 20 minute flight or we could drive for about 6 to 7 hours. We will have some time to explore Kathmandu city. We will stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 8: Leaving Nepal
You will be transferred to the airport and we will say goodbye here!
