The Natural Park of the Hoces del Cabriel
The Natural Park of the Hoces del Cabriel is one of the most important spaces for bird watching in the Valencian community. Border with Castilla La Mancha, offers a unique landscape with steep river canyons bathed by the river Cabriel, the largest tributary of the river Júcar.
Crossing this beautiful natural environment, in the municipality of Alcalá del Júcar, we find the steppe zone and crops full of birds of great interest. An ideal area to observe different species known as La Manchuela.
Tradition in La Manchuela
This region full of tradition and customs is known for its landscapes of wheat, riparian vegetation and vineyards (with its own designation of origin). A region of contrasts that impresses those who visit it because of its great landscape and cultural value. Land of a rich past through which have passed many civilizations and whose castles, churches and walls are a sign of it.
