Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu
One of our representatives will be at the arrival gate of the International airport in Kathmandu to receive you. He will welcome you and take you to your hotel. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional welcome dinner. You will spend your night at the hotel.
Day 2: Fly to Paro and drive to Thimpu
We will take a flight to Bhutan’s only International airport at Paro. Then, we will drive to Thimpu, the first stop will let us enjoy the wonderful Tachocho Lhkhang. Today, we will also explore the Centenary Farmer’s market. In the evening, we will wander around the market, connect with the locals, visit shops and spend the night at the peaceful resort of Thimpu
Day 3: Thimpu
Today, we will start our tour by visiting the National Memorial Chorten, a stupa devoted to world peace and affluence in 1974 in the remembrance of the 3rd king of Bhutan, the national library which holds the Kingdom’s rich culture, and the National institute of Zorig Chusum where students are trained in Bhutan’s 13th traditional arts and technique. We will visit Changangkha Lhakhang. Then, we will drive to the BBS tower. Today, we will stay at a resort in Thimpu.
Day 4: Move to Punakha
Today, we will move to the eastward to Punakha, through some of the prosperous agricultural lands and the most spectacular river valley. We will walk up to the Hongtsho Goemba to see the spectacular 15th century wall paintings, and we will move towards Dochu La Pass. The next attraction we will visit will be the Druk Wangyal Chorten. We will also visit the Chimi Lakhang at the Mitsina village. After lunch, we will go to the Punakha Dzong. Back to Thimpu at evening and stay at the resort.
Day 5: Paro
Today, we will back to Paro valley to enjoy a wonderful walk to see the Taktshang Gompa or Tiger’s Nest viewpoint. It takes around 3-4 hour at an average walking speed to reach Taktshang Gompa from the road point. We will also visit Kyichu Lhakhang, a holy gravestone. Stay at Paro resort at night.
Day 6: Kathmandu
Today, we will fly back to Kathmandu. Then, you can rest in your hotel and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you can visit the different places of Kathmandu, like Durbar Square (Basantapur) where you can see Kumari (the living goddess) temple, Kaal variable (the god of destruction), Taleju Vawani (the goddess temple once opened on the 9th
day of the great festival Dashain), Pasupatinath (the biggest holy temple of Hindus), Swayambunath (the famous Monkey temple), Boudhanath (The large Stupas in the world). You will have your final night stay in Kathmandu.
Day 7: Departure
Today is the last day of your holiday. You will have time off until your departure so you can use that time for shopping if you’d like to. Then, a representative will take you to the airport. We would love to see you again!
