4x4 route in Cazorla, Segura and las Villas to observe wildlife, Jaen

Come and discover in 4x4 the most virgin area of ​​the Sierra de Cazorla, Segura, and the Villas to observe fauna, flora and wonderful landscapes. For departures from Arroyo Frío, Parador, or Vadillo and a duration of 4:30 hours.

We will cross the valley of Borosa and the Cerrada de Elías.

You will go on 8 seats 4x4 with a guide who will interpret the landscape and territory that you will be observing.

It is an itinerary of about 100 km and 20 of them will be in restricted areas.

Thus, from the fish farm of Borosa, in the Charco de la Cuna, where the restricted area begins, you can observe the first waterfalls. Following the riverbed, you will pass where the Truchas stream and the Borosa river converge, a syncline fold of great originality and one of the most photographed places in the mountains.

Following our route we will arrive at folding in the Caracolillos bridge, a famous fold, typical of the area and that reflects the passage of time.

From there and if you wish, you can walk to the Cerrada de Elías (1.2 Km.) The magnificent canyon where the Borosa River passes, which has the most famous wooden walkway in Cazorla, and where the endemic insectivorous plant Pinguicola Valleesnirifolia is born.

Once again in the SUV, we will arrive at the Salto de Los Órganos Central.

In this way, you will have visited some of the reserve areas of the largest natural park in Spain and observed species such as the mountain goat, the deer, wild boar, fallow deer, among the ungulates. Also others such as the garduña, the gineta, the fox or even the elusive badger. Among the bird species, and as long as the weather in Cazorla allows, we can observe griffon vultures or the golden eagle and other species of raptors that usually fly over the area. With good luck, we can find the elusive bearded vulture. But above all, we will enjoy spectacular limestone landscapes, its unique vegetation and the beauty of the mountains as a whole.

Throughout the excursion you will be accompanied by a local nature guide and lover of his profession, who will explain every detail of the flora, fauna and other phenomena of nature that appear in our path.
